Faith

What is Faith? Where does it come from? Do you have more Faith then I do? Those are just some of the questions that are tossed around on a daily bases. According to the  Message bible, Faith is-

 ^1-2The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It's our handle on what we can't see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd.

 So there you have it! Faith is basically believing in  (in very simple form) what we cant see. People have faith everyday. It may not be in God, but rather then something as basic as gravity. You cant see gravity...but KNOW its there! People have faith in their cars, jobs, and biggest of all their money. With God for many people its as simple as that. Something inside is yearning for something more. I know a lot of people think that other people have more faith then they do. But it also says in the bible, Romans 12:3

...according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.

So there it is. Each human is assigned a measure of faith. It's just the fact on whether or not you act on your faith. For faith in it self is not enough. So you see, faith is in us all. Faith has come from God. As we dive more into the presence of God and read his word. That's when our Faith grows!
